Tyler Siefke
Head Coach/Owner

Tyler Siefke

Tyler Siefke brings a wealth of coaching experience to Rubber City Weightlifting, having coached athletes at every level—from brand-new beginners taking their first lifts to experienced national-level competitors. He also specializes in strength and conditioning for youth athletes, helping them build safe, powerful movement from an early age.

A graduate of the University of Mount Union, Tyler lettered in both football and wrestling and was a member of the 2012 National Championship football team. He is a USA Weightlifting National Coach, a multiple-time USA Weightlifting National Qualifier, and serves as an Athlete Representative for the Ohio Weightlifting State Organization (Ohio WSO).

Dan Bell
Coach Emeritus

Dan Bell

Dan Bell has coached weightlifting exclusively for nearly 30 years. He is a USA Weightlifting National (Level 2) coach and has guided weightlifters to the national and international level, as well as helped hundreds of CrossFitters improve their weightlifting technique.

Coach Bell has been involved in weight training and barbell sports for over forty years. His strength journey has taken him from preparing for high school football and wrestling to powerlifting, strongman training, and finally, Olympic weightlifting. He compares weightlifting to a 300-pound golf swing — the technique is that demanding and precise. He believes weightlifting to be the ultimate test of speed, strength, flexibility, and athleticism.
